Cheruiyot Foundation exists to support vulnerable students, empower youth and women, and promote community health and well-being through practical, inclusive and sustainable programs that create opportunity and lasting transformation.
Who We Are
A movement of hope, service and transformation — walking with communities and empowering individuals since our founding.
Cheruiyot Foundation is a community-centred organization committed to educating minds, transforming lives and sustaining communities. The foundation exists to support vulnerable students from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that financial hardship does not deny them access to better education and a brighter future.
The foundation empowers young people, women and vulnerable groups by addressing some of the key barriers that limit human potential. At Cheruiyot Foundation, we believe that true transformation begins when people are given the tools, hope, and opportunity to rise.
Through sponsorships and scholarships, youth empowerment, women's programs, health initiatives, mentorship and sustainable community development, we aim to build stronger, healthier and more self-reliant communities.
Our work is guided by the belief that no community can truly prosper when its children are denied access to better education, mentorship and adequate support. We focus on practical, people-centred solutions that create lasting community impact — when opportunity reaches everyone, communities rise together.
Cheruiyot Foundation is a charitable initiative — a movement of hope, service and transformation, committed to walking with communities, empowering individuals and building a future where every person has the chance to thrive.
The Story in Our Emblem
Every element of our logo carries deep meaning about who we are and what we stand for.
The Open Book
Knowledge is the foundation of everything. The open book represents education, scholarship and the belief that learning opens every door. It is where transformation begins.
The Growing Tree
Rising from the book, the tree represents growth, sustainability and community roots that run deep. Strong roots hold communities together through every season.
The Three Figures
Three people reaching upward together — students, youth, women — representing community, collective transformation and the shared aspiration to rise. No one rises alone.
Vision & Mission
Two guiding lights that direct every program, every partnership, every act of service.
Where We Are Headed
To build educated, empowered, healthy and self-reliant communities where vulnerable students, youth, women and families have equal opportunities to live with dignity, purpose and hope.
What We Do Every Day
Cheruiyot Foundation exists to support vulnerable students, empower youth and women, and promote community health and well-being through practical, inclusive and sustainable programs that create opportunity and lasting transformation.
Our Programs
Four interconnected pillars, each addressing a critical barrier to human potential — together building complete, thriving communities.
Education
We break financial barriers by providing sponsorships and scholarships, ensuring every child has access to quality education regardless of their background. Education is the greatest equalizer — we make it reach all who deserve it.
Health
Healthy communities are thriving communities. Our health initiatives address preventable illness, promote awareness and improve access to basic healthcare — because no child can learn and no adult can work from a place of poor health.
Women
When women rise, entire families and communities rise with them. Our women's programs focus on economic empowerment, skills training, mentorship and access to resources — supporting women to lead, provide and inspire.
Youth Leadership
Young people are not just beneficiaries — they are agents of change. Through mentorship, leadership training and youth programs, we equip the next generation with the confidence, skills and purpose to build the future they deserve.
True transformation begins when people are given the tools, hope and opportunity to rise — when opportunity reaches everyone, communities rise together.
